Professional relationships with opposing counsel are essential to criminal practice and lawyering in general. However, in an adversarial system, maintaining these relationships may sometimes be difficult. Please join us for a panel discussion with New York-based public defenders and prosecutors on how best to establish and maintain professional relationships with your adversaries, as well as the challenges that may arise in the process.

All NYLS students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend.

This event is co-sponsored by the Harris Keenan & Goldfarb Advocacy Program, the Trial Competition Team, and NYLS student organization Criminal Law Society.

The Criminal Justice Institute is housed within the Wilf Impact Center for Public Interest Law.
