This class centers around core material that is covered in foundational upper-level subjects and is tested on the Uniform Bar Exam (UBE). Students would first solidify their knowledge of the rules in question. They would then practice multiple choice questions on the material. This would serve to reinforce their precision in applying these rules, and help them understand how to apply them in very short and direct scenarios. This is the skill students will need to deal with the Multistate Bar Exam (MBE). Next, students would apply the same set of rules in short unambiguous factual scenarios, and would receive feedback aimed at improving their skills in crafting these short analytical responses. These skills are directly employed with the Multistate Essay Exam (MEE).

This third semester course will be taught in small sections in order to allow for substantial individual feedback on assignments. This course is required for students in the fourth quartile at the end of their first year.
