This course examines a variety of areas of law on the sports industry and its actors.

Sports Law

This course examines the application to sports of a variety of different fields of law, including contract, labor, antitrust, intellectual property, disability, and constitutional law. Among specific topics studied are powers of the commissioner, the players market, the interplay between antitrust and labor law in sports, licensing and broadcasting, the role of agents, and college sports.

This upper-level substantive course examines a variety of areas of law on the sports industry and its actors.
