Leveraged Finance
This class will provide an overview of how credit document terms often decide the fate of companies in distress. The course will highlight the principles of contracts, secured transactions, and bankruptcy. Through real-world examples, it will also demonstrate how the rule of law comes to life and how borrowers and lenders use the legal principles to ensure their interests are protected. Importantly, this class will also focus on the litigation that so often arises from distressed transactions.
