Pallvi Babbar joined New York Law School in 2023 as Associate Director of Academic Success.

In 2016, Director Babbar established a general practice firm, Babbar & Associates P.C. Prior to establishing her own firm, she gained legal and clerking experience by working as an associate at Office of Kenneth S. Pelsinger LLC and The Law Office of J. Stewart Moore P.C. While working at the Pelsinger Office, she gained insight on real estate matters with a focus on foreclosures. She also did criminal defense work while employed with the Moore Office in Suffolk County. In addition, Director Babbar served as a Law Clerk for Justice Michele M. Woodard for civil litigation.

Director Babbar’s legal knowledge, calming influence, and psychological background brings logic and reason to emotionally charged situations. She volunteers her time with several organizations, bar associations, and schools, and she mentors students hoping to enter the legal system. She also serves on a legal panel for the Consulate General of India in New York City.

Director Babbar is also an avid reader and, in her spare time, reads Gothic fiction, bildungsroman, and social criticism.
