For Students
All New York Law School students are welcome to join the Center for Business and Financial Law (CBFL) as affiliates.
Affiliated students can enhance their knowledge and skills in business and financial services law by concentrating their course of study, working directly with faculty members and alumni affiliated with the Center, and participating in projects and events sponsored by the Center—thereby expanding their professional networks and opportunities in this field.
Apply to Join
All NYLS students are welcome to apply to join the Center as affiliates. Affiliates must meet curricular and extracurricular requirements, found in Student Resources on the NYLS Portal. Students may not join or transfer to the Center during their final semester of law school.
Resources
The Center’s resource guide, found on the Center for Business and Financial Law section of the NYLS Portal, familiarizes students with ongoing developments in law, business, and finance. NYLS students are also encouraged to sign up for free accounts with Bloomberg Law and the Practical Law Company.
