Scholarships

The Office of Admissions and Student Financial Services makes every effort to inform students of scholarships offered by New York Law School and external groups.

We also encourage you to explore any other outside scholarships for which you might be eligible; doing so can help you reduce the amount you might need to borrow. We’ve confirmed the external scholarship links below, but when searching on your own, it’s important to perform due diligence before submitting information or application to outside organizations.

Donor Scholarship Program

The Donor Scholarship Program at NYLS is a valuable resource for students financing their legal education. Donor Scholarships are funded through generous donor contributions and offered exclusively to NYLS students. The donors who have contributed these scholarship funds are dedicated to the success of our student body and recognize the importance of helping qualified candidates reduce their dependence on personal resources and/or student loans.

Award amounts range from $500 to $7,500.
