Finding Your Purpose
Finding Your Purpose introduces students to a framework for finding their purpose within the practice of law. Purpose can be defined as your “North Star”––it is your individual and core motivating interest that influences decision-making, drives behavior, and gives meaning to life. Studies have shown that having a sense of purpose is connected to enhanced well-being and improved quality of life. As it relates to the practice of law, discerning one’s purpose/core motivating interest is part of forming a professional identity.
